You will not want to miss our special Veterans Day services, coming up Sunday, November 12.

The guest speaker at our Ballast Point Campus will be retired United States Air Force Col. Gregory L. Tate. Col. Tate is program director at the Center for Character and Leadership Development at the United States Air Force Academy.

He is an ordained minister who has served as Protestant chaplain, group chaplain, wing chaplain, major command division chief and air staff chaplain. In his last two assignments, he served as command chaplain for the United States Space Command and then command chaplain for the USAF Air Combat Command.

In addition to many other awards and decorations, Col. Tate is the recipient of the Legion of Merit with oak leaf cluster and the Bronze Star.

Col. Tate will speak at our 9:15 and 11 a.m. services on November 12 at the Ballast Point Campus (West and East campuses will meet together at 9:15 for this special service.)

The service will include special music and recognition of our veterans and their families.

Please mark your calendars and plan to join us as we honor those who have served our country.
