Faith & Recreation is a ministry for people who see their field, court, gym, trail, or workout group as their corner for ministry. We believe God uses everyday spaces to build his kingdom, and we want to come alongside you!
Built (Crossfit & Bible Study)
Build your life on Christ this summer through a 10-week CrossFit workout and Bible study. Whether you’re new to fitness or experienced in CrossFit, all skill levels are welcome as we grow stronger physically and spiritually together.

Pickleball League
STF Pickleball Outreach is an opportunity to connect with people in your community through Fun, Fellowship, and Sharing Gratitude. We meet on Wednesday and/or Saturday evenings at the covered courts at Ballast Point Elementary School. The league runs from September 2nd to November 21st. Join anytime! Schedule and Times are based on your availability and flexibility. You can register as a couple/pair for $20 or as an individual for $10 and register for multiple categories if desired.

Ballast Point Elementary
Men's Softball League (Fall Season)
Fall Softball kicks off on August 28 and wraps up on November 6 at Gadsden Park in Tampa. STF Men’s softball welcomes players aged 16 and older. The fee is $85 per individual and includes game participation, tournament entry, equipment, and a weekly dinner, or you can choose a team option for $650. We look forward to seeing you there!
Grand Canyon Rafting Trip
Join us for a trip of a lifetime. This “Bucket list” event will take place in the Lower Grand Canyon, where we will experience God’s exciting terrain and breathtaking scenery, creating amazing memories.
Dates: 3-8 September
Cost: $1,250 Per Person (Flights to and from Phoenix, AZ are NOT included). Feel free to use your own points and cards for Flights
Participant Limit is 12
$125 Due at registration to hold your spot (10%)
$625 Due by July 15th (50%)
$1,250 Due by August 15th (100%)
Cost covers: Fully supported Rafting Experience (Food, tents, sleeping bags, 2 Night lodging in Flagstaff, fuel and transportation between Flagstaff and Phoenix, all food while rafting, and in Flagstaff
Trip Itinerary:
3 September Travel Day (Fly into Phoenix and Drive to Flagstaff
4 September – Depart for Colorado River and Launch (Day 1)
5 September – Day 2 on the Colorado River
6 September – Day 3 on the Colorado River
7 September – Day 4 on the Colorado River, pull out, and transport to Flagstaff
8 September – Depart Flagstaff for Phoenix and fly home.

Grand Canyon Hiking Trip
Experience God in the grandeur of the Grand Canyon. Join us for a unique hiking adventure that combines breathtaking scenery, Christian fellowship, and spiritual reflection. As we journey through one of the world’s most remarkable landscapes, we’ll grow together in faith, challenge ourselves physically, and create lasting memories along the trail. Registration is open to hikers ready for both adventure and spiritual renewal.
Date: 8-12 October
8 October – Travel Day to Phoenix and to the Grand Canyon
9 October – Sightseeing and Acclimation
10 October – Hike into the Grand Canyon to the Colorado River and back out
11 October – Recovery Day
12 October – Travel from Flagstaff to Phoenix and Home
**A Rim-to-Rim option may be available for those who train and are in excellent physical condition
$650 (does NOT include Airfare)
Cost covers: Food, fuel, transportation while in Arizona, campsite reservations, wood, and some supplies
