Opening Worship: “King of Kings” (Hillsong Worship) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Of5IcFWiEpg

“Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.” — 1 Chronicles 29:11-12

The God of the universe is Lord of all. Yet, He demonstrates His sovereignty through His great love for you by sending His one and only Son, Jesus, from heaven to earth to live the life you should have lived and die the death you should have died, so that you may live for and with Him forever. His sovereignty calls for your submission to His authority and your surrender to His dominion. God is faithful, and you can rest in the knowledge that nothing will ever come into your life that He does not either decree or allow. He is with you always and promises to hold you in the palm of His righteous right hand. God is a good, good Father who is worthy of your worship.

Prayer Prompt: Open your time with the Lord by praying the Bible verses aloud. Confess any areas in your life where you are unwilling to surrender control to the Lord. Invite Jesus to help you surrender those areas to Him so that He can rule and reign in every area of your life. Thank Him for breaking any strongholds that have prevented you from worshiping Him in spirit and truth. Enter into a time of worship, acknowledging His authority and His amazing love for you.
