Opening Worship: “Great is Thy Faithfulness” (Cece Winans) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLOMz1ybYQg

“Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations, …” — Deuteronomy 7:9

“God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” — 1 Corinthians 1:9

When you are united to Christ Jesus, you may be confident that God accepts you. El Emunah is one of the many names of the Lord that mean “Faithful God.” He has been faithful to His promise, a promise that remains until the Lord Jesus Christ returns and the consummation of all God’s promises will be realized. Because God has proven faithful, you can trust Him with a confident expectation (or firm assurance) that all He has said He will do.

Prayer Prompt: Pray the above verses aloud. God, being true to Himself, will keep and fulfill His promises to those who have died with Him and endure until the end. Pause and think about a time when God has shown His faithfulness to you. Praise God for His faithfulness. To the one who loves and obeys God, who is faithful to Him, know that His promises will be fulfilled.

Additional Scripture: Psalm 36:5, Psalm 89:5, Psalm 119:90, 1 John 1:9, Psalm 103:12

Journal: Take a few moments to reflect on and note what God is showing you through His Word about Himself and how it applies to you.
