Opening Worship: “Truth Be Told” (Matthew West) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4wYkS8Z3Io

“Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.” — Psalm 86:11

“Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.” — 2 Timothy 2:15

As you gain a greater understanding of God as truth, it should change the way you live, both internally and externally. Through His Word and greater intimacy with Him, your understanding of the truth should grow. You then should begin to reflect that truth in your thoughts, words, and actions.

Prayer Prompt: Pray these verses above aloud. Ask God to give you a better understanding of Him as the Truth, and how that can and should affect all aspects of your life. Be prepared to receive what He has to say and to have your mind transformed and renewed (Romans 12:1-2).

Additional Scripture: 1 Kings 2:1-4, Romans 12:1-2, Ephesians 6:14, 3 John 1:4

Journal: Take a few moments to reflect on and note what God is showing you through His Word about Himself and how it applies to you.
