WHAT TO EXPECT
What is a service like?
We begin each service by worshipping God through singing together, we’ll talk about some exciting things taking place in the life of our church, and we’ll hear an inspiring message from God’s Word. The service typically lasts a little more than an hour.
What should I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we’re thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than on what you’re wearing. We are a laid-back church with a come-as-you-are atmosphere.
Where do I park?
Ballast Point: There are several guest parking spots near the front door, just for you! We also offer a shuttle service if you need to park in our off-site lot at Ballast Point Elementary School.
Davis Islands: Reserved guest parking spots are located on Como Street. Our other on-site parking is limited. If you park off campus, please be courteous to our neighbors by honoring designated no-parking zones.
Channel District: Park in the West Parking Garage at the Grand Central Kennedy building. The garage offers free parking for two hours.
What about my kids?
Ballast Point and Davis Islands: We have children’s ministries for kids from birth through 5th grade. There are check-in stations for all kids’ classrooms. Guest check-in is located at our Pier 3:16 Connection Desk.
Channel District: Children are welcome to sit in the service with their family.

Christmas Reading Ideas
We are recommending the following three Christmas/Advent reading plans:
- Read one chapter from the book of Luke a day. There are 24 chapters so you would finish on Christmas Eve, and on Christmas Day you could reread Luke 2.
- YouVersion has many Christmas reading plans.
- Starting on December 1, He Reads Truth and She Reads Truth have an Advent study with various portions of scripture and then a little commentary to follow. They also have a Kids Read Truth, but those study are books for purchase on their website.
