The Children’s Ministry and Student Ministry teams have put together a quick Parent Survey for all parents of preschool through high school students. They have created this survey so that they can prepare properly for the regathering of our Children’s and Student Ministries. This survey will be kept anonymous.
Welcome to South Tampa Fellowship’s Children’s Ministry!
We are so thankful you have come to see what we are all about. Our desire is to help children grow up to be like Jesus, as outlined in 2 Peter 3:18.
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever! Amen.”
With this desire, we believe church should be a place where children:
- Mature in their faith
- Form meaningful connections with friends and leaders
- Serve others
- Have fun in a safe environment
Here are a few things we are super excited about!
The Tide Pool is for the youngest children ages birth through preschool. You are welcome to come and immerse yourself in our water-themed classrooms, outdoor play area, and learn each week about the God who made you and loves you.
There is a thriving Tide Pool at both our Ballast Point and Davis Islands campuses. For more information about the Tide Pool and our preschool ministry please use the form at the bottom of this page to contact our children’s department.
Pier 3:16, is for children from Kindergarten to 5th grade. Pier 3:16 meets during our Sunday morning worship services. You will participate in 2 types of environments separated by grades: large group and small group.
Just like our Tide Pools, there are two locations of Pier 3:16 (one at Davis Islands, and one at Ballast Point) ready to welcome kindergarteners through fifth graders. If you have questions about our Pier 3:16 children’s ministries please use the form below to contact our children’s department.
AWANA Clubs International is a non-denominational organization with the main goal of reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him. Our AWANA program at STF operates on Wednesday nights, during the school year, at our Ballast Point Campus. AWANA is open to children aged two years through fifth grade. Parental participation is appreciated and encouraged as our faithful volunteers partner with families to see children grow in Christ and in their knowledge of God’s Word. Just a few minutes of club concepts every day at home can make an eternal difference!
If you have questions about AWANA at STF, please use the contact form below.
Through out the year we have fun events like Vacation Bible School, Trunk of Treat, Parents Night Outs, and so much more! We cannot wait for you to come back and have fun with us in a safe environment!
We want to connect with you and your family. Check out our social media pages for upcoming events, helpful tips, and articles relating to parenting, and funny videos just to name a few. If you have any questions about our programming or other ministry opportunities, or if you would like to drop in and get acquainted, please reach out to us.
Safety and Security
The safety of our children is of the utmost priority at STF. All adults serving are background-checked and trained. We have a 2-adult minimum for all classrooms. Computer-generated sticker name tags identify adults authorized to pick up children. We also have an off duty police officer around STF for additional security.
We are always looking for volunteers like you, who can help children grow to be like Jesus. Volunteers who can lead a small group activity, be another set of eyes, or simply love and play with God’s children. We want each child to grow up having a deeper relationship with God. With you on our team, you can be assured that you will make a difference in a child’s life!
If you’d like to volunteer in one of our children’s environments, we would love to introduce ourselves and find the perfect fit for you in the STF Kids family. Please use the form below so that we can begin the process of connecting you with our ministry.
