When do the students leave South Tampa, and when do they return? ● Check-in will be at our Ballast Point Campus at 5:30pm, Friday January 16. Students will depart for Jacksonville Beach at 6:00pm that night. We will return to our Davis Islands Campus at 12:00pm, Monday, January 19. All transportation will be with vetted leaders and STF staff members.

Where will students stay throughout the weekend?

We have two large houses rented for the entire weekend. These two houses are within walking distance of each other. One will house all boys, and another will house all girls. The address of these homes will be released to the parents closer to the event.

What does each student need to bring? While a detailed packing list will be released closer to the event, students should be prepared to bring beach clothes, one nice outfit, and a few pairs of clothes they can get dirty in. They will also be asked to bring a Bible and a journal to be prepared for all sessions.

What will we be doing at High School Beach Weekend?
After arriving Friday night, we’ll have a separate guys & girls orientation at their respective houses, and all link up together for a team activity that night. After that, Saturday and Sunday will each include two sessions, competitions, and time to relax and hangout both at the beach, as well as the houses. We’ll have surprises throughout the weekend and many activities that’ll create lifetime memories and build community with our students and leaders.

If my student needs to arrive late or leave early, is that possible?
If your student cannot attend 100% of the weekend, we will do our best to make arrangements for them to attend as much as possible. However, that should be communicated prior to registration. Please email our Program Coordinator, Emma Chapman, at emma@stfchurch.com if this is you.

Who will be the volunteer leaders at High School Beach Weekend?
Every volunteer at camp will have met with our staff, and will undergo a safety screening and sexual abuse training before they serve this week.

What will students be eating throughout the weekend?
Due to this event being smaller in numbers, we will be cooking most meals for students and will have a variety of options for all students that accommodate various dietary restrictions.
