WHAT TO EXPECT
What is a service like?
We begin each service by worshipping God through singing together, we’ll talk about some exciting things taking place in the life of our church, and we’ll hear an inspiring message from God’s Word. The service typically lasts a little more than an hour.
What should I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we’re thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than on what you’re wearing. We are a laid-back church with a come-as-you-are atmosphere.
Where do I park?
Ballast Point: There are several guest parking spots near the front door, just for you! We also offer a shuttle service if you need to park in our off-site lot at Ballast Point Elementary School.
Davis Islands: Reserved guest parking spots are located on Como Street. Our other on-site parking is limited. If you park off campus, please be courteous to our neighbors by honoring designated no-parking zones.
Channel District: Park in the West Parking Garage at the Grand Central Kennedy building. The garage offers free parking for two hours.
FOR YOUR KIDS
Ballast Point and Davis Islands: We have children’s ministries for kids from birth through 5th grade. There are check-in stations for all kids’ classrooms. Guest check-in is located at our Pier 3:16 Connection Desk. Once your kids are all checked in, grab a cup of coffee and head to the worship center.
Channel District: Children are welcome to sit in the service with their family.
FOR YOUR STUDENTS
We have worship services and community groups available for middle and high school students. RISE, our middle school service, takes place from 6-7:30, every Wednesday night at our Ballast Point Campus. WAKE, for high school students, meets from 6-8, on Sunday nights at the Ballast Point Campus (moves to 7-9 p.m., Tuesdays, starting July 17). The student community groups meet throughout the week.
There are coffee stations at each campus. Enjoy a free cup on us!
We feel the best way to develop closer relationships with God and one another is in smaller groups. These groups meet at various times and locations throughout the week.
