What is Starting Point?
Starting Point is a conversational environment where people can explore faith and experience community. Starting Point groups are a safe place for people with questions about faith, as well as those who want to learn about the Bible and Christianity. Groups meet for about 10 weeks and together explore the grand story of the Bible. One of the goals of Starting Point is to help participants find their places in the story.
Who is it for?
- Seekers - those who are curious about God, Jesus, the Bible, or Christianity
- Starters - those who have just begun a relationship with Jesus Christ
- Returners - those who have some church experience, but have been away for a while
Where does it take place?
We currently host Starting Point groups on Sunday mornings at the Ballast Point Campus at 9:00am and the Islands Campus at 9:30am.
Orientation
At the orientation, you will hear all about Starting Point, be able to ask questions, have an opportunity to sign up for a group, and find out where to purchase your materials. Dates and times of upcoming groups will be shared at the end of each orientation.
There is no commitment when you come to the orientation; just show up to find out more! Orientations typically last about 20 minutes, and your children may attend orientation with you.
The next Starting Point Orientation will take place at the Ballast Point Campus on April 25th at 10:10 or 11:40am and at the Islands campus at 12:15pm. Questions contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or 813-251-1515 ex212.
