Missions Movie Night at the Ballast Point Campus
5:45 p.m., Wednesday, September 27
The movie “Mully” shows what the power of God can do through one man who is willing to fully follow His will. It tells the true story of Charles Mulli, abandoned at age 6, who rose from being a street beggar to become one of the wealthiest men in Kenya by age 40 — only to sell everything to save abandoned children and raise them as his own. Three decades later, Charles and his wife have raised more than 12,000 orphans into successful adults. Mully Children’s Family now provides food, clothing, medical care, education, vocational and life-skills training for more than 3,100 children.
A Compassion International child sponsorship drive will take place after the movie, and local ministries that serve children will be spotlighted. AWANA’s Bring a Friend Night is the same evening, so invite your neighbors and their children!
The theatrical trailer and online RSVP can be found here.
2B1 is a class for married couples that will meet from 6:30-7:30 p.m., Wednesdays, at the Ballast Point Campus. This class is an opportunity for all couples to learn from each other and for couples who have been together for some time to share their struggles, their blessings, and the lessons they’ve learned. Please register below. We can only take five couples at a time, but if the class is full, you can still register. We will add you to our waiting list.
