June 11-15, 2018, 8:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
The draft is now open for “coaches” as we begin “Gearing Up for Life’s Big Game.”
Your child will love the Pier.
The mission of the children’s and preschool ministries at STF is to provide children with a safe, secure and Christ-centered environment while partnering with parents to build a biblical foundation for faith in Jesus Christ. We have activities on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings as well as our awesome Vacation Bible School each summer.
Thank you for your interest in child dedication. The Staff and Pastors of South Tampa Fellowship are honored that you wish to make a commitment to raise your child in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ, with the support of the STF family. Child dedication is a joyous occasion which celebrates the parents’ acceptance that their child is a most gracious gift from God.
The Tide Pool: Preschool Ministry
The Tide Pool is a where the youngest members of the STF family are taught three key truths: God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever. Each month one of those three basic truths is taught through Bible stores, music and engaging activities.
There is a thriving Tide Pool at both our Ballast Point and Davis Islands campuses – and it’s open to infants through four year olds. For more information about the Tide Pool and our preschool ministry please use the form at the bottom of this page to contact our children’s department.
Pier 3:16: Elementary Children’s Ministry
Our elementary program, Pier 3:16, is divided into two learning environments: large group and small group. Club 3:16 is a high-energy large group worship experience with Bible storytelling. Children spend the remainder of service time being shepherded in small groups and applying the Bible lesson to their lives through discussion, fun activities and games.
Just like our Tide Pools, there are two locations of Pier 3:16 (one at Davis Islands, and one at Ballast Point) ready to welcome kindergarteners through fifth graders. If you have questions about our Pier 3:16 children’s ministries please use the form below to contact our children’s department.
AWANA Clubs International is a non-denominational organization with the main goal of reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Christ, and to train them to serve Him. Our AWANA program at STF operates on Wednesday nights, during the school year, at our Ballast Point Campus. AWANA is open to children aged two years through fifth grade. Parental participation is appreciated and encouraged as our faithful volunteers partner with families to se children grow in Christ and in their knowledge of God’s Word. Just a few minutes of club concepts every day at home can make an eternal difference!
If you have questions about AWANA at STF, please use the contact form below.
Volunteer with Our Children’s Ministries
In our Tide Pool and Pier 3:16 ministries, it is our goal to move children beyond having Biblical knowledge to living a biblical worldview – to help form heart attitudes, motives, actions, and dreams that are in line with God’s will and His word. In other words, we want children to leave each week with a better understanding of who God is and their need for Jesus. We also want them to have fun!
If you’d like to volunteer in one of our children’s environments, we would love to introduce ourselves and find the perfect fit for you in the Pier 3:16 family. Please use the form below so that we can begin the process of connecting you with our ministry.
